The method and characteristics of hot-dip aluminium coating
The method of H.D.A(Alumer) is to clean the surface of a steel or iron with acid which is an unique method of our companny in order to degrease and remove an oxide, after that to dip the steel or iron into a molten aluminium bath (temperature 710°C±10°C) for the necessary time to make alloy layer on the surface between steel and aluminium, and to make a pure aluminium layer which is formed over the alloy layer.
The thickness of alloy layer and aluminium layer depends on the dipping time and temperature but it is usually 0.01~0.2 m/m. Thickness of the alloy layer is not unlimited but it can be up to 0.5m/m. There thickness of the alloy layer can be adjusted by quality and usage of a material.
We used Flux in hot-dip aluminium coating. This is main key which coating. This is main key which coat aluminium on the steel, very unique method of our company, and made from serveral industrial chemicals.
The coating layer of hot-dip aluminium coating is similar to the one used calorizing and merallikon at the same time, vut the alloy layer of calorizing contains exceedingly high 55~59% of aluminium. The more it contains aluminium, the better it resists temperautre and corrosion.
The surface of hot-dip aluminium but the surface of hot-dip aluminium coating is coated by dense aluminium but the surface of metallikon is not dense. therefore it needs to be thicked because it can be penterated by oxygen and dosen't have resistance to corrosion.
It goes whiout saying that hot-dipped aluminium coating is superior to caloirzing and metallikon fiom the viewpoint of resistance to corrosion and temperature.
